Could this be slapped cheek syndrome?

My daughter 2.9 has been a right little madam the last two days, so I thought she might be coming down with something. She started with an awful green runny nose out of one nostril only and this morning woke up with extremely bright red cheeks with a very fine rash on them? The redness hasn't gone down and she has been wingy all day, nose is still awful and now has very fine rash on her arms?

I Googled slapped cheek as a friend mentioned it and it does look a little similar, so what do you think? I'm also a bit worried as she has been mixing with her newborn baby niece all week, is it contagious? Do I have to let her nursery know to?

Thanks for any advice?

by the time the rash comes out, it's no longer infectious. it's contagious so there's a chance that she may have passed it on but there's no way to know for sure... tell the baby's mum in case she's mixing with pregnant women. it's unlikely the newborn will get it unless she's been holding her/slobbering over her/sneezing on her.

more of a risk to pregnant women.

let her nursery know out of courtesy.

calpol etc for wee one.
