How long for periods to be normal after birth?

My DD is now 28 weeks old. My period resumed about 6 weeks after she was born. I have had 4 cycles since which have been 28 - 32 days. This is what I was like prior to conceiving my DD. However, my period is now 10 days late (based on 28 days).

I'm quite sure that I'm not pregnant and wondered if this was normal since I seem to have been normal up to now IYSWIM?

Mine didn't come back for ages but when they did they were definitely all over the place for a while and they never got back to quite how they were before I had ds - cycles varied in length much more.
