I have a suspected ulcer, I have been on 40mg Losec since Monday with no improvement. I was at the doctor today, he said it takes 3-5 days for the Losec to kick in. He gave me a prescription for Tylex for the pain but the pharmacist told me that I won't be able to drive with them and I have to do the school run so I can only take paracetemol. It takes the edge off the pain, but I'm still very uncomfortable. I am knocking back the Gaviscon evey time I eat.
I thought someone might have some advice, I'd be very grateful
