numb/tingling nose - what is that all about?

For the past few days, my nose has felt really odd, somtimes tingling and sometimes numb. does anyone know what this might be? I broke it ( at the top, this is about 1cm at the tip) about 10 years ago but have never felt something like this!

Do you have hay fever? My nose tingles and goes numb before I start sneezing and it is the time of year the rapeseed is cut.

ooh, thanks wmmc. i do have hayfever and have recently started using my nasal spray. hadnt thought of that.
was a bit worried as it feels like the beginning of a panic attack when i go numb but that is a far more logical answer!

i get numb/tingling nose from some spices as does my sister. must be some sort of similar reaction.

olivo when i got panic attacks it was with tingly bottom. just to add indignity to it...
