"Bulky Womb"?

I posted awhile ago about my cycle. I have had a really bad three months that have gone something like:

6 weeks on
2 weeks off
10 days on
2 weeks off
1 week off
Currently at week two, nothing yet.

I've been losing about 100ml a day and I'm still breastfeeding.

Went to see my GP and because I have Antiphospholipid Syndrome I was sent to the gynaecologist. Who I have seen today. He agreed with the GP that most normal treatments are a problem because of the APS so is asking for advice from a Haematologist. He wants to see if this will get better on it's own rather than messing with my existing health and my breastfeeding. All fair enough.

However, he also had a prod around and said my womb is "bulky" so has referred me for a scan. Does anyone have any idea what "bulky womb means or is he just literally describing what he felt?

He may be referring to fibroids as these can cause heavy bleeding.

I did a Google and that looks like a possibility

Wondering now if it would explain the PGP between pregnancies
