Is it time to go to the doctors?

I've had a bad cold for a week now, terrible sore throat and what I think is a chest infection (not really a terrible cough, but bringing up hard dark green lumps - sorry if that's TMI) and I've still got a temperature. Currently it's 38 degrees. I've had a temperature for most of the time I've had the cold. I wouldn't normally go to the docs with a cold, I know there's nothing they can do, but is it time to call it a day?

Crikey, that sounds scary jajas! I hope you're better now.

I've had lots of bronchitis in the past and this is nothing like that, no hacking cough, no watery phlegm with every cough. More like a tickly cough with the occasional green lump coming up. But they are really hard, more like snot. Grim eh?
