I'm 27 weeks pregnant with our first little one and have been suffering from progressively worse pain above, below and behind my foot.
My GP diagnosed it as Achilles tendonitis today and has recommended I see a physio and have them administer ultrasound treatment on the foot as the normal anti-inflammatory cannot be administered during pregnancy.
I didn't think much about it at the time but am quite worried now about any effects this ultrasound treatment might have on the baby. I've searched and searched but there seems to be very little info on the risks of this on the web.
