Do I have some sort of prolapse? Beware - Gross details

Hello

I am 32 and have had 3 children. For a while now I have had the feeling somethings not right down below.

A lot of th etime I get a dull dragging pain low down in my belly and the sensation of soemthing similar to a tampon not inserted correctly in me. It is not all the time prob for a couple of weeks a month?

Have been reading up a bit and though I feel like I will wet myself if I jump on trampoline with kids I dont have any problemns such as constipation etc.

Now for the gross bit - on inspection of 'down below' the back bit of vaginal wall feels kinda bumpy sure thats not meant to feel that way? Also sex is a bit uncomfortable but not actually painful.

Any advice or experience appreciated. Btw have appointment booked for next week with doc as have had enough!!

Thanks for reading

Vaginal wall is supposed to be bumpy; I don't think that's gross.

Sounds like all is not right. Am sure doc will know what to do. If he or she says you need to improve your pelvic floor, I suggest Pilates.

Sounds like the start of a prolapse, but probably not a serious case. You should see your doctor. The walls of the vagina are bumpy and the large bump at the top is the cervix.

MMmm, I had a minor prolapse after birth - exactly the tampon sensation you described. The midwife and GP both had a look and said not to worry about it - 9 months later and a lot of pelvic floor exercises it's pretty much back to normal.

When are you due a smear? Could you not book yourself in for one and ask her to take a look then? If something feels wrong then it's always best to get it checked out.
