Please someone help me. This is going to be a bit long but I'm not sure what is relevant at this point.
Today I was a passenger in a car and felt I needed to pass wind so I held it in and the urge soon passed. Half an hour later I was still in the car and felt an intense pain in my fan that almost made me cry out, then it just disappeared.
When I got home after about 2 hours I went to the toilet for a wee and when I wiped myself I felt a very hard lump on my vagina. I freaked out and lay down on the bed with a mirror and had a look. I couldn't see anything at all so I strained a bit to see if anything would pop down as I was thinking 'prolapse' but nothing did.
I put my finger in and about 3 cms from the entrance I felt a hard lump, about 3-4 cms long and on the wall separating my bum and fan. I pushed on it a little and felt like I was going to poo myself so I tensed, then thought I'd just let it go to see what happened. I broke a little bit of wind and the lump went down a bit.
I went back to the loo to see if I could poo but felt no urge and when I wiped I couldn't feel the lump again so it seems to have gone back in.
It doesn't hurt but 2 days ago I had a bit of pain in my vagina that went away on it's own.
I have also, for the last couple of days, been feeling that when I pass wind, some of it is going up the vagina, then coming out of it bit by bit.
I had a poo after all of this and it was all normal and not painful though a little constipated.
When I gave birth 8 years ago I had a 2nd degree tear so could it have something to do with that?
Has anyone else had this or similar? I'm so worried and embarrassed about going to docs tomorrow

Sorry- can't decide whether to call it a vagina or a fan today

BYT, your 'lump' is actually poo

Next time you go for a poo, check straight afterwards and I bet you the lump is gone.

You do have a prolapse, it is called a Rectocle

I am not medical by the way, Just speaking from experiance. Of course please dont take this as a definite diagnosis, you should see your doc if you're concerned.

Thank you for the advice, I looked it up and it sounds exactly the same as what happened yesterday.
I was fearing it would be something like this but was happy that treatment included diet changes and pelvic floor exercises.

haven't got to docs yet but I feel a bit better about going now I know what it could be
