I'm having some sort of reaction to dairy products every time I eat them - what should I do?

The reaction is a swollen tonsil (or something back there, I can feel it near the back of my nose) and an itchy throat. It happens with pure dairy and a lot of hidden dairy like processed foods. What do I do? Ignore it or try and stop eating dairy? It seems really hard to follow a dairy free diet. Any ideas please?

I reckon its easier than you think to go non dairy. Drink black tea/ coffee/ herbal/green tea/. Dont have butter on your bread and quit cheese Try it for a couple of weeks and see what happens

Ta cyb. I think the reason it seems so much harder is because DD2 is tiny so I've been relying a bit on convenience foods as she's still feeding loads. The thought of cooking from scratch every night while she's screaming is not so good. I think I'm overthinking it though!

no ned to cook from scratch...bung some chicken in the oven , cook loads, half an hour later hey presto. that will last you a few days.. with salad, jacket potato, whatever

tinned tuna, beans, pasta? is that dairy free?

That's true, I've definitely been overcomplicating it in my head. Will give it a try for a few weeks and see how it goes. Not sure about pasta, will have to have a read up. Thanks
