periods on holiday

Does anyone know if there is anything you can get other than the pill to stop your period coming? I've come on early so now i'm going to be on when we're away.

no sorry the only one i know of is the pill. someone else may be along soon with another idea.

Yes there is. I got it for my period when I got married - cannot remeber what it was called though. the doctor prescribed it for me. You need to take it before your period is due and then it delays it until you stop taking this pill. You cannot take it for long (maybe 2 weeks) and it mucks up your periods afterwards (timings etc.) but was worth it for me not to have my period on my wedding day!

3kids - there was a thread on this a little while back. I've taken Noristherone in the past with no problems.
