3 year old has glue on/in a 2cm cut on his head - nurse told me to not let him pick it - so...

...would I be being overly precious to put some kind of bandage on it when is at pre-school next week? Obviously when he is at home I can keep a close eye on him but it's not realistic to expect his teacher at kindergarten to be able to. He has the same kind of rubbish non-healing skin as I do (ginger hair = thin skin apparently) so I really don't want him to pull it apart again as, from my own experience, it could get horrid. So would it be a totally ridiculous over-protective mum thing to put some kind of bandage on it??

(I may not reply tonight as am going to head off to bed shortly but will definitely check replies in the morning!)

Sounds like a sensible idea to me. I've just seen that DS scratched off a chicken pox scab on his cheek (sigh), it's hard enough to watch them at home!

We put butterfly stitches (steri strips) over dd's glued cut on her head in a cross shape. Worked a treat.
