I'll be buggered if anyone can help me with this but worth a shot...

I was due on my period on thursday of this week, but nothing has turned up. I've been having the mild cramps/tender boobs/nneding to wee a lot, also a bit of nausea so I did two pregnancy tests this morning both of which were negative.

I'm really fretting here. I had unprotected sex once last month but it was when I was on my period (I know you'll all be thinking 'ick' but I'm very light). The chances of me being pregnant are very slim but where the hell is my period? I'm usually on a 26-28 day cycle.

Help!

oh I think you may be pregnant my lovely.

No idea how accurate the tests are, but I would do one again in a few days if your period hasnt arrived.

sounds like you may well have a bun in the oven. So sorry if it's not what you want.

TulipsInTheSunshine · 01/05/2010 19:31

I had a friend who had a very regular cycle but everytime she and her bf had a slip up with protection she'd miss a period... she was never preg, just the stress of worrying about held her period off everytime.

But then on the other hand i never had a single +ive test with dd and it is possible to conceive whilst on your period.

Hope you get the result you want though

fearnelinen · 01/05/2010 19:31

There may be an alternative...you might just be late? I've started to have irreguar periods after a decade of set-your-watch-by-it 28 day regularity? 4 months ago I was 6 days late, started being sick all the time (probably through worry) but it came eventually Fingers crossed

honeydragon · 01/05/2010 19:33

DD was result of diaphram carelssness and me thinking as my period had ended 24 hours previously I would not have to worry - your either pregnat or not - but ovulation is a fickle mistress.

piratecat · 01/05/2010 19:34

wiat a few days, this happened alot to me when i was trying for dd, ALOT. The stress of thinking i might be.wasn't, and my period would turn up. With the neg tests you just don't know yet.

Try and wait a few more days and then do another test.

You weren't being unhelpful, TeamEdward. I was just rather hoping to hear "pfffft you're no more pregnant than I am Angelina Jolie" type-posts

Keep clinging! The fat lady hasn't sung yet ;)

PS Since my major scare I went from decalaring loudly that I'd had my last to thinking hmmmmm maybe?!
