Stinky feet - any suggestions?

Any top tips for my annual summer nightmare of stinky feet? (Mine ) Love wearing sandals/flip flops/ open shoes, but my feet really whiff and so do my shoes. Foot deodrant doesn't seem to do much - anyone got similar prob and found an answer?

Could it be something you're eating? I half caught a programme recently where a guy had always had a problem with smelly feet and I think it was because he couldn't process certain foods.

Hopefully someone'll be along in a minute who remembers it.

Wash them

No really, a few drops of tea tree oil in the sink, with a gentle soapy cleanser. It's anitbactierial. That's causing the wiff.

Worked wonders for my ex. It was either that or amputation.

Mouseface, amputation LOL. I do sympathise though, for anyone living with a smelly footed partner. Will try tea your suggestion.

My feet really hum, my GP offered me a sympathectomy referal or told me to soak the soles in potassium permanganate. I declined the offer of having my nerves severed and tried the PP. It didn't work. Oddly enough, I was talking to a friend yesterday about them. She said she'd heard on the radio that you should pee on them. Could be worth a try.

Mouseface, I gave up wine for Lent and haven't missed it at all. I feel teary today but it is so silly really.
