I have been quite ill recently with flu and forgot to take my pill for one or possibly two days.
I had some quite heavy bleeding over the weekend which was a bit like a period. I phoned the NHS helpline and they said that this was common if you forgot a pill (which I normally never do). I have since bled each day and have kind of period pain symptoms, bloated, tender tummy and achey back.
Does anyone know how long I should expect this bleeding to go on? I would have anticipated maybe a day or two, but not five. Any ideas?
