Just feeling sorry for myself, and want something to make me feel more human.

paracetomol and hot blackcurrant juice! thats about it i'm afraid!
i remember begging the pharmacist for something..anything when preg with ds2 and she said nothing was suitable as all contained de congestants etc. it s a bummer.
olbas oil might help? pretty natural.

Tried to convince DH last night that the lemsip didn't say not to take it, but that I should ask a doctor .... he wasn't convinced!

I found soluble paracetamol, an echinacea-and-fruit herbal tea and a slug of ribena a perfectly adequate alternative.

A steam inhalation might help clear your head a bit, you poor love. The one consolation is that most cold remedies don't actually do much, so at least you're saving money.
