My DS had a lovely thick head of hair when he was born. Now he's 14 weeks and most of it has gone. I've heard this is common but does anyone know when it will grow back??

Perhaps quite quickly, if he was born with lots of hair/ you and dh have thick hair.
Me and dh have v.fine hair and dd is 14 m and is just starting to have a bit more than a few whispy strands. But as I say, we're blond and with fine hair.

It grows back when it grows back. Many babies start life with lush heads of hair, some start with practically none. Some keep their hair, some lose it. It all evens out in time - you don't see many bald toddlers - and, if you've got a strong healthy baby, that's really far more important than what's on their head.
