Sore throat and really really gassy. Am I the only one that gets this?

I have a funny throat, not sore to swallow but scratchy and whenever I get this, I get appalling gas and heartburn. I can't take anything like Gaviscon because it makes me sick and it's driving me mad. I can barely swallow because of the gasiness and I am constantly burping. What the hell is this??

I think you could try talking to the pharmacist about whether you could try omeprazole - but they may well suggest you talk to your gp.

Thanks It just sounds so odd when I try to describe it. It surfaces maybe two or three times a year. Ugh, drives me insane! Will ask pharmacist.

does sound like reflux - def can irritate the throat. hope you have some luck sorting it out
