I only normally get this once every few years, but I had it about 5 weeks ago, extremely painful, complete with white stuff on the throat. Took antibiotics, all cleared up.
Saturday night, I woke up with a very painful feeling in right tonsil and gland, which by sunday you could see loads of white spots and what looked like a lump with a big white head on my sore tonsil.
Funnily enough though, its only my right side that hurts, even though the white also covers the left side. I am taking anti biotics I had stashed away and they appear to be helping, but is it normal to have tonsilitis twice in 5 weeks? I stupidly googled and am now worrying about sinister fatal deseases
Please tell me that if it was anything terrible, it wouldnt be subsiding, but in fact getting worse.
