Started on Thursday, due - I think - to a very disturbed night on Wednesday with neighbourly problems spilling over into street.
Got back from work on Thursday at 5pm, went to bed and didn't get up til Friday morning. At one point on Thursday evening I was crying because the pain was so bad, I really did think I was going to die.
I have had migraines in the past and have always had warnings such as visual disturbances, but not this time.
Anyway, it started again on Friday afternoon and by the time we got back from our day out it was really bad, adn back to bed I went, DH went to tesco pharmacy and got me some painkillers.
Saturday ahd a niggly headache all day which develpoed into migraine by 5pm, then yesterday it was there ona nd off - had pins and needles too. And now it's back. So are the pins and needles

Could it be linked to your cycle? I had a 5 day headache last week- arrived a couple of days before my period and for the first 3 days.

Sorry to hear you are feeling so ill Saltire - that's miserable for you -

check out this

see under "migraine with aura" - it says they can last for 5 days and you can have pins and needles

I'm no expert, but I think I would get this checked out by a doctor if it goes on any longer. Don't want to alarm you but pins and needles could also be a neurological symptom - particularly important to get this checked out if you are on the pill.

Hope you feel better soon

I take cerrazette - and don't have a period at all. I used to be on the Depo, which was great, but because of HBP they changed it to the cerrazette. I also take HBP tablets, but have been tkaing them since January, and never had this migraine before. It has eased a bit today
