can voltarol 50mg be taken with 2 anadin extra tablets? dh just had teeth out <ouch>

dh's mouth is killing him, can he take voltarol 50mg with 2 anadin extra?

any help apprecaited!

If anadin extra contains ibuprofen then no, he can't mix the two. If it just contains paracetamol then he can have both.

Not if anadin has aspirin in it. Aspirin or ibuprofen = NO. Paracetamol with Voltarol, yes.

Anadin extra contain aspirin and paracetamol IIRC, and not even the full dose of paracetamol at that.

Better to take the voltarol plus a dose of proper paracetamol(or cocodamol) instead.

i dont think you should take both together as anadin contains aspirin (NSAID) and voltarol is the same. It could affect your stomach lining alot.Co-codamol and ibuprofen can be more helpful for dental pain.ask GP
