what has happened to my face? I look like an elephant woman

over last few days my cheek has been sore to touch under my eye, right down to bottom of my nose.

Yesterday my notsral started to swell and redden, like when you have a "blind" spot - no head on it, but you can feel a hot swelling and pressure.

now my nose is so swollen on one side my nostril is nearly blocked, and my face is swollen it hurts like hell, i want to stab it!!

At a guess, - an infection, an allergic reaction, or because its very painful - shingles. Go to the docs. it sounds as if you need it looked at.

Could it be cellulitis? If it is, it needs antibiotics v quickly. I had it a few months ago and had oral antibiotics and was under instructions to get straight to hospital if it didn't improve.

I had it around my eye. The skin around my eye was puffed up and tender. I think you should get it looked at - sorry.

where to go, its now the weekend???

Call NHS direct and see what they think. They'll tell you to go to out of hours if they think you need seeing (sounds like some kind of infection to me)
