strange periods after birth

I had my baby 3 months ago. My period started 6 weeks later and lasted 7 days. It was really heavy. 8 days after it finished it came back again for another 7 days! Then 12 days after that one finished its back again So thats 3 heavy long periods in 5 weeks!

Would you see the GP about this or is it normal after birth until hormones settle?

I would get this checked out by the GP. Any such changes to your cycle should be reported as a matter of course.
