No but when you find out will you let me know... I've had the same sensation for about 3 years now!
Had a scan last week and as far as I know it was clear.

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 17/03/2010 21:40

Perhaps it was a tadpole when you swallowed it - that might be easier to overlook.

cocolepew · 18/03/2010 07:52

You were no help.

Actually me too! Does anyone have an answer?!

DoctorAficionadoDelArse · 20/03/2010 15:28

i's pulsing it's probably your aorta.

cocolepew · 20/03/2010 16:15

Meaning...?

OP posts:
LouIsOnAHighwayToHell · 20/03/2010 16:25

Oooh I have had this too.

nickelbabe · 20/03/2010 16:27

your aorta is in your heart.

she's saying it's part of your heartbeat.

cocolepew · 20/03/2010 16:30

I think it's large intestine related. I've had a bug and I think it's air or something. My friend reckons it's my gallbladder because I get a pain there.

So, so far : frog, heart, intestine/bowely type thingy, gall bladder. Anyone else?

OP posts:
cyb · 20/03/2010 16:31

is it a baby kicking?

Not wishing to put the fear of God into you, of course.

but have some towels and hot water nearby, just in case

cocolepew · 20/03/2010 16:33

Frog
Intestine/bowely type thingy
Gall bladder
Baby jesus.

OP posts:
LouIsOnAHighwayToHell · 20/03/2010 18:32

I have no gallbladder
Also no baby
Haven't seen a frog in years
And if my bowel is near my heart then I have more pressing issues to worry about

thrifty · 20/03/2010 18:45

tis probably wind as the intestine turns a corner there (goes up to that corner then across to the left and then down to your bum!) I had the same thing for ages, due to a bit of rather solid and unmoving fecal matter.
try massaging your tum/abdomen in cicular motions to push it along.
I was amazed how big the intestine is and where it travels in the body!

DoctorAficionadoDelArse · 21/03/2010 17:10

Sorry for the delay. Your aorta runs through your abdomen to your heart. Mine beats very noticably. If I lie on the sofa with the remote on my stomach i can see the remote bobbing up and down in time with my heart beat. {please note that i very rarely assume the lying on the sofa with remote position, honest.}

DoctorAficionadoDelArse · 21/03/2010 20:15

Here's a picture of your aorta that I drew earlier!

I just love that it says "very thin individuals" feel it as I have never in my life been anything other than well padded.

cocolepew · 22/03/2010 17:08

Oh yes. That's me. "A very thin individual".

I think it was wind related.

OP posts:
sprinklesilverdust · 22/03/2010 21:58

its trapped wind in large intestine, i had same it felt like baby kicking, i had the embarrassment of doctor telling me lol.

cocolepew · 07/04/2010 12:38

I've been to my oestopath and she said it was caused by a trapped nerve in my back, she must be right because it has stopped.

mumsie123 · 12/04/2010 17:37

is it a heart palpatation?
