Im a size 10 but my bra size is 36HH!! Ive got no chance of jogging, and ive tried the whole sports bra thing - doesnt work, they just cant hack it, last sports bra i had last an hour and the strap snapped (no laughing!) I even tried wearing 3 sports bra's all at once and that didnt work either, my friends think im so funny and we have a chuckle, but i really DO need to start toning up, and i used to love jogging! WHAT can i do?????

I am a G cup and I wear an industrial strength steel reinforced bra with a tight crop top over that and then a tight fitting vest thing. It does not stop the bounce but it helps. Then I run in a wierd position with my hands/arms holding them down

Hi there
I've had a similar problem (was 34GG). Have you tried the enell sports bra? It's not the most comfortable but it definitely works bounce wise! Although the sizes it suggests are smaller than us, I used size 1 at 34GG, and size 0 now I'm 30GG (due to weight loss )
I also tend to hang out in the ladies gym if I'm running on the treadmill.
Good luck

Hi, I have the same problem just when walking fast (never mind running)! When I reach a fork in the road, my chest often goes one way, while I go another

The last time I went to a specialist bra shop, they said not to forget about sports bras and just buy a really comfortable "normal" bra.

This one has a high cotton content.

Stillcounting · 17/03/2010 13:22

OOhhhh!!

Found this one!!

Any good? I know it's not exactly pretty but it looks as though it will do the job ...

jasper · 17/03/2010 13:28

get a bike

Or wear 2 bras that are too tight, one on top of the other. That's what I used to do

BariatricObama · 17/03/2010 13:34

enell are good but you do feel as though you are going into battle when you put it on.

i also think you should get measured in bravissimo or similar. your size sounds abit weird for a size 10 woman

CharlotteACavatica · 17/03/2010 13:46

Oh that does look good stillcounting! And yes i do have a bike, but im not a very confident cyclist and fear one day i may 'wobble' under a truck! I could probably do with being measured again, i do know i have lost a little bit of weight (i was a size 12) but im breastfeeding at the mo (dd2 is only 6 weeks) so im hoping they go down again when i stop bfeeding altho they dont usually go down again, i used to be a 32B before kids, but with every baby ive had (dd2 is baby no.4) and b-fed ive got bigger and stayed bigger (sigh) i absolutley HATE them!

You are not alone! I HATE mine too and mine "didn't go down" afterwards either!! I feel like a freak as, like you, I have a very back size.

Good luck with the exercising. It can only help and if people laugh - well - at least we are trying to do something about it!!

dinkystinky · 17/03/2010 13:57

Try Enell - ugly as all hell but will be up to the job!

myfaceisatomato · 17/03/2010 14:00

Another vote for Enell, takes a while to get used to though.

MummyElk · 17/03/2010 14:01

at the height of bfing i was a 36j so on the verge of not even having bras big enough - but they are out there and they do work.
think my best one was from bravissimo in the end? and wearing two is an option.
get properly measured and see what they say.

Stillcounting · 17/03/2010 14:22

oh lawd, sorry, I've just re-read my post and it seems terribly rude totally unintentional, I am so sorry. "I" feel like a freak because of my very SMALL back size. Didn't mean to imply that you were of freakish proportions at all (particular if you are breast feeding)

I'll just keep digging shall I?

lilmissmummy · 17/03/2010 22:31

I wear an impact free sports bra , this one with a very small (2 sizes too small) sports crop top over the top like this admittedly it looks ridiculous but it does the job.

DebiNewberry · 17/03/2010 22:37

the enell one really does work, they will not move and do not hurt.
