i had the non-hormone coil taken out at Christmas and have had three cycles without it. In each cycle it has taken three to four days of me producing very slight bleeds such as six droplets of blood before I eventually have sex as a way of getting it going and then I have a proper period. I have not experienced this before. I am also in a very relaxed manner trying to get pregnant with partner but we are not doing it with charts etc just seeing what happens. Do you think this is to me wearing a coil for a year and a half? Is it due to my age 40? or is is due to trying to conceive?

I had this (didn't try the sex thing to hurry it along!) and I'm 32. I think its normal and you could try Agnus Castus to re-regulate your cycle. I did, but before I started taking it, fell pregnant. Would you like my unopened jar of the stuff??!

OOh interesting. I have same coil and the same annoying bleeding pattern. Was hoping that when I get it out, I will be back to normal, so to speak. Also hoping to ttc soon.
Im same ages as Elsa. Might try the agnus castus stuff too... Hope you get it sorted soon rabbit

Elsa did you have the same symptoms as me after having the coil taken out? Sorry just to clarify. Also, if so, how many cycles before they went back to normal?

rabbit - just posted you on your other thread! Have you thought about accupuncture to help get your system back on track? Need to have therapist who specialises in hormonesw/fertility/gyne problems. Has worked well for me. They dont use hundreds of needles, usually just 6 and I find it very relaxing!
