Child with smelly feet!!

With all this hot weather DS (3yrs 4mths) has been wearing sandals all day (no socks) have now noticed extremely stinky/sweaty feet!!!!!! You even notice when he is in the same room as you!!!

No sign of athletes foot etc - any tips for dealing with this as even after scrubbing them they still smell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ds2 4 is exactly the same in sandals, and was last summer too!
ALL i CAN SUGGEST IS HOLDING YOUR NOSE TILL the end of the summer, or wearing trainer socks with them.

What type of sandals are they? Natural or manmade? You'll find that his feet sweat/smell more in madmade and it's worth forking out for a pair of leather sandals.

QoQ ds2 is the same in leather.
I even took a pair back to clarks last year and told them it was the quality of the sandals making his feet smell.
Needless to say replacement pair was exactly the same!

they are man made fabric and plastic/rubber soles - obviously I realise this will make them worse but I would have thought the fact that his feet are in the open that they would be a bit fresher!!!

Spray the feet w/a natural deodorant?
