ive had them since i had ds 5 years ago. sometimes they nearly go and sometimes they get bad especially if i have constipation. at the moment they are quite bad and been bleeding

ive been docs once a while ago so i know they are definately piles and ive been using Anusol supositories which do the trick for a while until i stop using them

what can i use that you can get over the counter without having to visit gp that actually works?

Only surgery gets rid of them for good. If you get them eg like me in late pregnancy, they tend to disappear afterwards but the weakened area (blood vessel wall/whatever) is always there and they can reappear eg if constipated. Also apparently more likely when you have your period - hormonal reasons.
