Any tips please on disguising horrid toe nail infection ?

Im 6 months pregnant and have been unable to treat a fairly horrid fungal nail infection. Its on 5 of my toe nails making them thick yellow and crumbly. Obviously im not going to be able to treat them for a couple of years with breast feeding- certainly not the anti fungal tablets, and my GP says not to use the paint either.
I was using the paint for about a year with some improvement prior to pregnancy.
I just wondered if anyone had any tips.
i`ve tried false toe nails which look great for a special occasion in the summer but are unhealthy themselves in the long run.
nail varnish looks awful because they are so thick.
I don't want to bare them to anyone, and while i know i should cover them up anyway, i may have to expose them at some point during labour !
Any tips gratefully received.x

I heard an ad on the radio about laser treatment for infected toe nails. have you investigated that?

fluconazole cream. its safe for vaginal thrush in pregnancy so should'nt be a problem.

Oh and a chiropodist visit.

Tea Tree Oil is an extremely effective home remedy for fungal nail infections... find pure TTO and put a few drops on and around the nails once a day.

you'll have to do it every day for the few months it takes to grow the new nail.

vicks vapo rub x 2 a day and apple cider vinegar x 3 a day are also supposed to help but i think the TTO is the best treatment.
