Ok here is the issue, i am too embarrassed to go the G.P yet so i thought i would ask here first.

My nipples are a bit strange, my left more than my right has a green colour to it. Also it is like chunks of the nipple will come away (say the size of a sesame seed) the surface is not smooth but cracked. I also have a couple of lumps next to my nipple and they are not round they sort od extend into the lumps. I also have hadsome itchiness lately. There is no discharge though. My youngest is 4 so not related in anyway and there is no chance i am pregnant.

Has anyone any idea? or had this them self?

You're not going to like this but .... get yourself to the drs. Any breast change should be checked out sooner rather than later. Will you do it and report back? Please?

You could make an appointment with the nurse first if that would help the embarrassment?

Btw I had to see a dr years ago for a breast exam and he was brilliant, they had a nurse there who covered all of my top half with a sheet and they only looked at the bit concerned - I didn't have to stand or sit there with everything hanging out if you see what I mean. Worrying about it is much worse than actually getting it over with!

Bite back your embarrassment and go to the Dr's. They see things like this everyday. I had severe excema across both my nipples which became infected and my Dr gave me a gentle ticking off that I'd left it to get as bad as it did because I was embarrassed.

Due to the scar tissue on my nipples I may never be able to breastfeed, and it causes me some confidence problems. Go to the doctor asap deary.
