My DH has seen a gum specialist and has to have periodontal treatment at a cost of £493 for 4 30 min appointments (OMG!!) already paid £97 for assessment, he was referred from his dentist.

We just do not have this sort of money, does anyone know of treatment on the NHS or any other routes ?

See if he can be referred to a dental teaching hospital, it will be done for free by a final year student under supervision of a dental professor
