Help please! I am sure that I have read in magazines about a cream developed by a cosmetic surgeon (who tragically died young leaving a wife and children) which was fantastic for scar tissue. I can't find it. Does anyone know what it is called and / or where I can get it?

was it bio-oil , it not a cream , but its the only thing i can think of that works well on scars.

Thank you, but no I don't think it was Bio Oil as I would have remembered that from rubbing gallons of it all over my bump! It was something else...Oh it's so annoying when you can't find where you read something!

We got it over a year ago; I emailed them first (The Firm) to see if it would work on dd2's keloid scar (it didn't, but that might be her skin). I have lost the details. But Peter Butler who is the face transplant surgeon is part of the team, and excellent on the radio. (Totally unconnected info!)

creme de la mer? It was developed for burns patients and is now sold for squillions.

Could it be "Kelo-Cote" Oli? I started using it 2 weeks ago on my Caesarian scar, seems to be some improvement already.

If it's not that, then it could be Cica Gel, but that comes as a jelly like sheet of Silicon.
