Surely I'm too old for this?

Nothing very exciting really, but very very annoying.

At 28 I have suddenly started getting spots on my upper back. Horrible big ones that mean I have to think twice before getting dressed so my top is high enough at the back to cover them. They aren't massively painful or anything, but are unsightly and as I have a duff back I have physio once a fortnight and feel really embarrassed about them.

Ideally, I would like to be well rid before it's vest top weather. So, any ideas on how to get rid would be very much appreciated.

Depends what the cause is - probably something hormonal so you should go to the GP.

I was horribly spotty with PCOS (including on my back), almost totally cleared up by finding an oral contraceptive pill that suited me (in my case Marvelon). But your case may be something entirely different so what works for any of us may not be appropriate to you.

My Dh said to go to the doctor, but I thought he would laugh and tell me to stop wasting his time! I don't use any contraception as Dh has had the snip.

Might ring up next week for an appointment.

If you use conditioner on your hair whilst showering try skipping the conditioning or do it leaning forwards over the sink/bath.

I found my back spots were always worse when using conditioner.

This might sound daft but has it started since you started on the physio ?

Might be a grubby hander physio or more likely they are doing some good and getting rid of toxins . I know that after cranial oesteopathy my youngest came out in awful spots .

oh, I suppose it could be the physio, she does a deep tissue massage with oil. Crikey, I am so Duh!
