So you eat chicken that has been left out all night to defrost

I ften leave it overnight on the side to defrost, although put it in the fridge during the day.

What temp has your house been during the day whilst it has ben out? Was it covered?

Chances are it'll be fine after a good cook through, but couldn't guarantee it.

If it was in the fridge marinading i'd be fine about it.

i do the same as hulababy... not out for 24 hours though, wouldn't eat it then.

Normally it would go in the fridge but it didn't today. Smelt a bit iffy but then I always think things smell off when they aren't. Was covered. Not very hot today. Cooked well. It has been out since about 9 last night. Needs to stay out as won't defrost in the fridge.

I would eat it. I defrost everything outside the fridge.

DH just said worst is they might get tummy ache. I think they will be okay.
