Please come and talk to me about lumps up bums

I am so frightened by this. Two close members of my family have died from bowel cancer.

For past two months have had horrible 'problems down below, feeling flappy in vaginal wall and dragging/ periody type pains. Thought it was a prolapse, docs looked at me and said it definitely wasn't and they had no idea what it was. Been a bit constipated, but bowels dodgy anyway.

Flappy/ open feeling became on and off and then today I got so fed up I decided to have a very good look myself and I stuck a finger up my behind. I found a largish lump about as far as my index finger would go, 'behind' the bowel wall and it seems to be pressing into my vaginal wall.

Please come and tell me about your experiences. Have to wait for another doc appt.

it's either your cervix or a rectocele- go back to drs and ask for a referral to a gynae- it took 1 GP nad 3rd gynae before it was decided I needed op for front wall repair. (GP nad 2 gynaes thought all was fine.

ooops- sorry - I though behind meant behind wall of vagina.

Sounds like an internal pile.

It could still be a prolapse of the bowel.
