i am a level 2 film student currently working the pre production of a film where our central character suffers post-natal depression...i was wondering if there were any mums out there i could interview or that would be happy to talk their experience through with me so we can write a better film (everything will be in confidence and will only be used to improve the film)...here is a synopsis of the film...

"exsisting mother of 3, Sandra, has just had another baby, however she is unable to connect with the child despite her attemps. Currently in therapy for her violent dreams (often about her children), the line between reality and fantasy is becoming blurred and she so desperatly wants to return to normality, for her sake and the sake of her family. Sandra exhauts every outlet she has and slowly starts to lose control"

it's a working development, if you ahve any suggestion to make the film better please dont hesitate to get in contact, i would be so gratefull for any input anyone can provide.

Our idea is based on the idea that Sandra is around the age of 45 and already has 3 quite grown up children (16, 19 and 21) and the new baby was not planned however she wants to keep it, shes been such a good mother to her other children she just doesnt understand why all this is happening to her.

much thanks
