Happening at least once every two months despite tacking echineacea or manuka honey and I'm sick of it. All blood tests from doc's have come back normal, any suggestions?

Boosting your immune system and ability to fight infection through a generally healthy diet and exercise is probably your best bet. Honey and echinacea are OK as far as they go. But do you get plenty of iron in your diet from red meat, dark green vegetables, pulses, fortified breakfast cereals, wholegrains .... and do you get plenty of vitamin-c rich foods such as kiwifruit, citrus and peppers? Probiotic yoghurt drinks can help if you've had a course of antibiotics.

Is your lifestyle/environment as good as it could be? Obviously it would make no sense to smoke or be around smokers, for example. An excessively damp or over-dry/over-heated atmosphere either in the home or workplace can interfere with respiratory function. Being a healthy weight helps with general health. Having good personal hygiene and asking others to do the same helps block a lot of infections.

Good luck.... and if it continues then keep going back to the doctor. Sometimes things are not immediately apparent.

Thanks - shall just persevere I guess I don't smoke, drink the odd glass of wine and have a pretty healthy well balanced diet and I do lots of exercise. Am a SAHM and walk the kids to school (a mile)as well as doing at least two trips to the gym and a lot of cycling.

There's a throat infection going about just now but I just seem to always get whatever it is. DH on the other hand doesn't despite having similar diet/exercise to me.
