Foes anyone have an idea what this could be? I'm in so much pain.

I have a pain in my neck, it seems to be behind one of my glands and the pain is getting worse, it seems to have spread down my neck and also across to my jaw and ear.

I have no other symptoms at all (except being exhausted) no swelling etc, even touching my neck is very very painful.

Does anyone have any ideas please?

I can't see it being that as I have full movement in my neck, it doesn't hurt at all moving it left to right, up or down etc.

I mainly hurts when I swallow etc.

Ah right, my throat isn't sore at all either so I'm confused.

I'm going to have to go to the doctors, but, don't relish them having to touch my neck as it hurts so much.

Shingles? - Mine started with one tiny spot and loads of pain, it was a few days before the rash came out properly.
