I have a lot of ( what I thought were moles ) on my legs. They are not itchy or changing shape and only raised my concerns when I read a magasine article - as they have appeared in the last couple of years. Until now - I have not been concerned but decided to go for what I thought was a routine check up.
The specialist has said that I need a biopsy. He is near certain that what I have is mastocytosis.
What is this ?
I was just expecting it all the be an "all clear" but because I was so shocked I didn't ask any questions ..... silly I know ....
He also took my bloods for a ) a liver profile and b ) a bone profile.
Cue - the sleepless nights !!
