Hi im 26 mum of two boys aged 3.5 & 22 months. Iv had reoccuring peri-anal abcesses (sp?) for years got one last wk, they did da mini surgery to burst it last fri (sorry way tmi) i have had reoccuring thrush for a few months always for the wk b4 af but had af last wk & it didnt go but became very severe cuts blisters da works dr put me on Daktarin talc & i took a once of dose of flocon i think it was called & am using caldesene too. But i have had to wear a sanitary towel as iv bn leaking its gotten quite bad ystday i was changing ds2 & it jus came almost like my waters when they broke, it was like painful to try to stop it, i really tried with all my might, stopped dressing ds, kinda grabbed da dresses but jus cudnt... i had to change my clothes im n da hosp daily to change my dressing on my backside & said it to da nurse she went to look for a dr but they were very busy so jus said to say it again today or go to g.p if it gets very bad... WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!

Go to GP.

Take urine sample to be checked for UTI.

Ge proper treatment for nasty thrush - also get then to take swabs to check for other infection.

are you on antibugs for the abscess? sometimes that can cause a thrush flare up.

if the incontinence carries on ask fr a referral to a physiotherapist.

in the meantime (and forever more) - lots of pelvic floor exercises.

Would also extend your medical treatment to your partner/husband. And was all your undies, towels, etc on 90 degrees until it's cleared up. Poor you, get well soon.

Thanks very much for replies not on antibiotics as had them two wks ago for ear infection have been started on iron last wk im sure completely unrelated. But im a bit -paranoid- worried cause da symptoms iv been havin i thought were down to being anemic but da blood tests said im not anemic yet but my iron stores were completely depleted anyways i dont think it shud really account for all da other odd crap goin on n me... if they cant sort me today or durin da wkend il go to g.p on mon... thanks so much for being very kind

might also be worth getting checked out for diabetes - a lady I work with had lots of bouts of thrush as main obvious symptom before being diagnosed with type II diabetes.
