Inspirational DVD ideas for friend resting after chemo

A friend is having chemo and wants me to send her some inspirational DVDs (or DVD recommendations) while she recuperates. Am stumped and veering more towards comedy (Some Like It Hot sort of thing) for fear that inspirational DVDs can sometimes be too much of an emotional rollercoaster. Anyone got any ideas in either category?

Children of a lesser God - is a good film, and 'A Beautiful Mind'

If she doesn't mind subtitles 'Etre et Avoir' is a fabulous film (esp. for anyone with children) about a wonderful teacher.

Some old comedies - Bringing up Baby, The Philadelphia Story, It happened One Night.

Or maybe some old musicals if she wants to lose herself for a bit.

When I had chemo I also really enjoyed audiobooks, they take your mind away from what you're going through, and sometimes you don't have the energy to read or watch TV, so you can just lie back and listen.
