Boobs still full and hard 4 days after stopping breastfeeding

Stopped on Saturday after gradually introducing bottles but boobs are still very full and heavy with hard lumps. Thought they would be much better by now having googled and it said 2-3 days. Have used cabbage leaves and I'm not expressing anything in the hope body gets the message. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you X

LOL I left my DD for 11 days when she was 16 months and still breastfeeding and they were like rocks when I saw her again. I can still remember the sensation of relief as she had her first suckle for 11 days...

I'd hand express a small amount if I were you, it will help relieve the pressure.

I used to do this when I stopped feeding DS1 and would add the milk I expressed to his cup of cows milk.

Warm flannels on your boobs may help too (in the bath is easiest).
