Painful spots on jawline, ouch!

Over the past few months I have been getting these buggers surfacing. They really hurt and leave scars, which look awful.I came off the pill about 6 months ago. I am guessing it's hormone related/ acne? Any idea for treating this. My skin on my face, esp cheeks is geting worse too, blackheads. I am early 40's.

It's like being a teenager again.

i saw a nutritionist about this and she said adrenal stress can cause spots along jaw line - her tips were to drink loads of water, cut down on caffiene and eat regular balanced meals always containing protein which helps to regulate blood sugar level.

This has helped me in many ways including skin - but it did not fix the spots - the only thing that has fixed the spots is going back on yasmin for me!

I get these - they are horrid and almost certainly hormonal. I have recently started using a witch hazel liquid cleanser from Boots which is mild enough to use every day and it does help a bit.

That's interesting about adrenal stress I've been getting spots here and that fits how I've been feeling. I know spots on or around your chin is hormonal.

hmm adrenal stress. these are most def on jawline and come up seemingly overnight, and they are really painful.

I do need to drinkmore water and my diet has not been fab recently. Yet it has coincided with the pill too. oris it the age. I don't know.

I have read that gp's can prescribe low dose peroxide cream for acne?

adrenal fatigue?

sounds like i feel most of the time!
