Ow! I've gone and cracked my tooth.

Ow,it hurts.What do I do? I've never had this happen before.Do dentists have emergency appointments? It is a bottom molar with a very old filling in and a quarter of it has cracked and is wobbly.Yuk!Do you think it will be salvageable or will they whip it out? That is if I can get in to see my dentist.

And I'm hungry as I couldn't eat my tea.I just want to whinge a bit really.

When I had this happen I ended up with a crown. They should be able to save the tooth if there is a bit of it left. Ring them tomorrow and tell them you're in pain, they may well fit you it and do a temporary repair or something.
