watery bright yellow mucus from my nose???

I had both sinuses drained 2 weeks ago under a general anaesthetic. All went ok, no complications. Last Wednesday I had a really, really sore throat and headache and my sore throat has got better but today my right side of my face is hurting , like sinus pain and I have really water liquid coming from my nose. It is a toxic waste yellow colour,,, ANy advice????

My operation was meant to cure my sinusitus,ahhhhhh!

I get this occasionally after I get a cold, and always assumed it was my sinuses too (usually have a godawful headache just before hand)

are you due to go back? sounds like an infection

Got a follow up apt on 9th March, I thought that it might be. The nurses were surprised how quickly I recovered- huh no such luck eh?

see if you can see them earlier. i had the same op last year - it can take quite a while to recover fully ime

Thankyou SEA- I was fine after a couple of days then this. It just feels like it did before I had op, I really thought I wouldnt suffer again. Ive never had this watery stuff though. Probably an infection, I have been out in the cold alot
