It is huge, well feels huge to me, like a large pea. Had to get him to look cos can't see over the bump to get a good look myself.

Wtf do I do? Wait to see if it goes away or go to doctor?

Could it be an ingrown hair?

I had something like that whn pg with ds3 and it went in about a week or so. Nver went to docs as was too

bluebat · 06/02/2010 21:38

lol korma I have already namechanged tonight so can exclusively reveal that I have had one which I eventually managed to squeeze - bliss. I'd like another now just for the squeezing pleasure.

peggotty · 06/02/2010 21:38

pissflap!!!

did your dh refer to it as that - how romantic!?

CMOTdibbler · 06/02/2010 21:39

I get them reasonably often - they burst in a nice hot bath.

they burst ,given time with a very satisfying pop ,but they hurt

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 07/02/2010 01:03

If it's red and hot then you need to pop to the GP, it could be a bartholomews cyst, it needs checking.

Maize · 07/02/2010 01:04

Its a boil

I had one for a bit and it was sore, but when it popped, ahhhhhhh.

LazyJourno · 07/02/2010 01:05

pissflap?! The word is labia

Btw it's probably just a cist. If you squeeze it puss will come out. Or it could be an ingrowing hair or inflamed hair folical. In which case removing the hair will solve the problem. Have a look with a mirror if you're curious.

If you're worried see your GP.

Sorry for double post

skymoo · 07/02/2010 01:15

I had one, no pus/redness, just under 'skin'. When I had a gynae op, my understanding consultant lanced it for me

BecauseImWorthIt · 07/02/2010 01:18

A puss will come out from your labia?!

Blimey, your bump is hiding a lot.

BitOfFun · 07/02/2010 01:22

I hate the word pissflaps. Labia is lovely though- almost a girl's name...

pmsl at BIWI.

Yes, puss will indeed come out. But only if you dangle a shoelace provocatively

LazyJourno · 07/02/2010 01:30

BOF did you get that off Bounty? "What do u fink of Labia for ma pink bump innit?"

skymoo · 07/02/2010 01:31

The thing I had wasn't popable or sore

humptynumpty · 07/02/2010 09:24

this bad boy is sore. had a look in the mirror. Can't see anything, just can feel it iyswim. I mean there's no head on it or anything.

Will wait a few days and see what happens!!!

Don't get actual spots (in fact GP has checked for one of those Bartholowotty cysts before - nothing) - but just have massively sensitive labia (okayhewas?0 - can't ever wear nappies panty liners without soreness or even swelling. Apparently one of those things.

(should I have namechanged? we are amongst friends, non)

humptynumpty · 07/02/2010 16:57

I know it's terrible. Still, encourages me to put on a clean pair of knicks every day .

Fortunately they are not sensitive to activities!
