Epilepsy drugs (generic): just recvd an email

from Number 10 about the petition to stop GPs prescribing generic drugs for epilepsy.

Stopping them (changing) would be good news. Dh changed epilepsy drugs once while he was with me. THe old ones were no longer available/working properly (not sure which) and the side effects were terrible, inc another fit.

Medicine such as anti epilepsy drugs should not be messed about with, unless it's absolutely neccessary.

(the reason i asked the good/bad news question is because i think they're saying that they won't force generic medicine. why are governement responses so hard to understand? )
