Hello Depeche! Welcome back. Yes, I must be almost 5 months. I've kind of stopped counting which is a good thing I think!

Are you doing it with / without NRT this time?

I'd love to hear how everyone else is getting on too?

Hi Depeche, how are you doing? Just stumbled on this thread again, wondered how it was going.

I have nearly reached four months! I truly don't think about it at all any more. I am SO grateful to everyone on this thread - it helped so, so much and I really don't think I'd have done it on my own.

Maybe if I bump it'll bring some more people out of the woodwork for you, DMFan. I'll come back, anyway, and check on you .

Hi there. I hope all are doing okay! I'm not on MN so much these days but I'll try to check a bit more frequently.

Hope you're okay Depeche. And well done Cregg!

Hello how's everyone doing? I will be 6 months smoke free on Wednesday. I haven't even had so much as one pull of a fag since I stopped. I can't believe i've got this far!

Well done! I don't smoke, then I smoke then I don't smoke. I use NRT, and when I am sick of the lozenges, I move onto the patches because I don't notice them so much and they're easier to forget about. I am still a nicotine junkie. I haven't smoked for a couple of weeks, and I haven't decided to kick it in altogether. I was really peeved with the nurse for saying that even if you smoke a couple of fags a year, you are still a smoker. I find that quite offensive, like calling someone who enjoys a glass of sherry at Christmas a drinker.
