Spots on breast - please put my mind at rest.

I've a circle of 5 spots - like acne/bite type spots near my nipple. They've been there for years so I've not been too concerned about them. I've recently had another spot appear which is itchy - I've also started wearing a lacy bra and think this has caused the new spot. However, I looked up spot on breast on the internet and it says it could be a sign of cancer. Now I'm panicking about the other spots. I have no lumps as such - i thought it had to be a hard pea type lump. The spots I've got are raised on the skin. Someone put my mind at rest.

That's entirely normal. Spots around the nipple are rarely anything other than the result of hormonal changes during the course of the month. Try not to worry

Thanks - I always thought breast cancer was a lump under the skin. These are spots on top of the skin.

Yes, your skin on your boobs is quite oily so they do get little pockets of sebum. Don't worry, we all get them.

Thanks, would have thought if it was anything serious I would have had other symptoms by now, like I said I've had them for years - I think maybe after I had my DS.

Really shouldn't look up health things on the internet.
