Could it still be post natal aches? DD2 is 13mo!

I have got an appointment with GP later this morning because I cannot move my shoulder. Have had to take the day off work and DP had to go to work late so he could take DDs to the CM - so is a bit of a nuisance.

It started hurting yesterday afternoon and I was in bed by 8pm last night (with DD1!) due to pain. Have been taking Ibuprofen but doesn't seem to be making a difference. Hurts to move my head away from the affected shoulder and needed help getting dressed etc this morning.

I have had previous problems with joints (or muscles - not really too sure where the pain is coming from!) and GP has previously done blood tests which ruled out arthritis at the time.

Affected 'joints' include wrists, knuckles, knees, ankles, hips,

I have read previously about relaxin causing aches in joints after childbirth - but DD2 is now 13 months old so, if it was this, shouldn't it have calmed down by now.
Also read that BF tends to make it worse - but only BF for 5 weeks so that ended a long time ago.

The pain is not constant - when it flares up it lasts for 2-4 days or so and then disappears - only to appear somewhere else in a couple of weeks.

Any ideas?
Am I wasting the GP's time - not my usual GP as she is too busy!
